1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using MyChurchConnect (the “App”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under it.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App (or have parental/guardian supervision).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems.
- Uploading malware or interfering with the App’s operation.
- Harassing others, posting illegal content, or violating others’ rights.
- Using the App for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
4. User content
If the App allows you to submit content (e.g., comments, posts, requests), you remain responsible for what you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the App.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. Donations & payments
If you donate or make payments through the App, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details. Any refunds (if applicable) follow the church/organization’s policies and applicable law.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the App, users, or legal compliance. You may stop using the App at any time and request account deletion by contacting us.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the App will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and may notify you in the App.
